Abstract [eng] The master’s research explores four financing methods and four business models for solar power plants. The study analyses the scientific literature reviews the main environmental climate change problems related to electricity generation. The methodology set out in the methodological part is intended to calculate solar power plants and business models. The evaluation of solar power plants using different financing methods and business models was performed. Net present values, internal rates of return, income and expense ratios were calculated to assess the impact of different financing methods on the economic efficiency of solar power plants. The electricity generation costs were also weighted, and a comparison with the average electricity market price was made. The study showed that flat-rate subsidy financing for minimum and higher capacity solar power plants achieves the highest economic performance and reduces weighted electricity costs. The highest weighted costs of electricity generation arise from the application of conventional bank loan financing. In the case of settlement for recovered electricity and payment for the installed power plant capacity, the highest internal rate of return, income and expenditure ratios are obtained.
