The purpose of this task is to modify the DC circuit of the traditional AC-DC-AC frequency converter in such a way, that it could perform a function for compensation of reactive power, while retaining its main functions, like power supply and speed control of the engine. In order to implement this task, a system module was created in the „Matlab Simulink“ software. The model itself consists of a three-phase voltage supply, power transformer, AC-DC-AC frequency converter, asynchronous engine, and a PI regulator. The DC circuits capacitor‘s impact on the input parameters was researched. |
