In this work, the analysis of polymer production and measurement methods used in 3D printers is performed, a prototype of measurement equipment is created and researched. The first part analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of polymer filament production and control technologies, the specifics of computer vision. In the second part, the equipment is designed, the components to be used are selected, and a prototype is constructed, and the program code is explained. In the third part, the parameters of the developed device are experimentally determined, the measurements of the filaments of different materials are performed and the obtained data are analyzed. The prototype of the thread diameter measuring equipment was designed using the “SolidWorks” software, the main body parts were manufactured with a 3D printer, the control code of the equipment was written in the “Matlab” software environment. |
