Abstract [eng] |
The modern business environment, rapid globalization, and technological advances are forcing businesses to look for ways to improve operational management, maintain a competitive advantage and keep pace with the evolving world. A company striving for success and efficiency cannot follow obsolete business systems and keep pace with innovative technologies. Those Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) are the two most primarily used terms. Adopting ERP and BI systems is considered one of the most significant technological and organizational innovations in modern companies seeking knowledge dissemination and reliable business decision-making processes. Despite the importance of information and knowledge management, especially in times of crisis, most companies still underestimate the application of BI in the company's decision-making process while implementing ERP systems and their application subsystems. Thus, there is a need to analyze the impact of ERP and BI systems on business processes efficiency. |
