Abstract [eng] Relevance of the topic. The Fourth Industrial Revolution - Industry 4.0 - is changing the lives of everyone. New technologies and digitalisation are penetrating all fields of business — industry, engineering, energy, and manufacturing — whilst also impacting every household and every individual. The digital revolution is changing the world and encouraging the transition towards more technological production methods, creating innovation potential by increasing the social orientation of businesses, the creation of digital products, and the development of goods and digital technologies. Researchers note that digital transformation is shaping the need to acquire new skills and competencies to aid in this transition. The newly-emerging concept of Leadership 4.0 requires leaders to develop new leadership skills and a certain leadership style that enables them to comprehend how technology affects people and how human nature can align with digitalization.
