Abstract [eng] One of the oldest types of business - commerce, widely developed online. Buying online helps you to save some money and time. However, despite the online shopping advantages there are some threats that do not apply to traditional commerce. In different countries, e-commerce popularity varies. European leader is England, Lithuania by e-commerce popularity ranks just in 23rd place. The main purpose of this paper - to identify the representations of electronic commerce risks in Lithuanian and English online media Method of analysis: quantitative content analysis. The research was conducted by analyzing an articles about online shopping that was taken from internet news sites. For data analysis and coding it was used quantitative statistical analysis software - SPSS.
