The work on thermodynamic and economic heat pump plant analysis. discussed the global situation of heat pumps in the energy sector, and in lithuania. heat pump operating principles, prevalence, characteristics. At the work discussed kaunas heat pump plant structure, components, processes running across its nodes. compared few evaporators, and desided which is suitable. investigated heat exchanges between circulating refrigerant in the palnt, which is used as working agent, and river water, as source of low potential heat source. also calculated friction loses for refrigerant in the evaporator. given economic overview of the plant, calculated unit prices, and investment payback period. |
