Abstract [eng] During the experimental study, the research of fiberglass influence on steel structures was exercised. 60 steel structures were made to perform the tests. In order to determine fiberglass influence, non reinforced steel structures were tested. 15 tests were made with pure concrete beams. In order to determine the influence of fibre glass quilt, tests were made with reinforced beams. 15 steel beams were reinforced with 12, 18 and 24 layers of fiber glass quilt framework which is glued to structures with epoxide resin. Experimental study was performed according to a 3-point bending-pressing scheme. Samples are put on a 2 support units and are pressed through force center F. The study revealed that non reinforced structures can withstand on average 2.74kN load when bended and reinforced structures can withstand on average 6 kN load. It has been noticed that the first cracks whose appeared on reinforced structures were coinciding with non reinforced structures disintegration load. During the experimental study it was proved that strengthening steel structures with fibre glass results are positive but if steel structure is strengthened with 12 layers or more, fibre glass quilt framework anchoring is needed.
