Abstract [eng] |
The main advantages in the design of heavy cargo vehicles are such as product price, weight, loading capacity and life-time durability. In this article we will make a numerical research to find out is it possible to reduce the price and weight of the truck body by reducing the amount of mounting units. From the strength test [7] of the truck box mounting it is noticed that after removing 40% of mounting bolts the loading data on the rest of the bolts almost did not change. In the result of this finding a request for a numerical research occurred to check how many mounting elements it is necessary to mount a truck box. After establishing sources of loading, corresponding force values were found. Then the minimal amount of mounting elements was presented. |
