Abstract [eng] Successful business recognised not only locally but also in the international market, consistent growth of earnings is the aim and the main goal of each enterprise’s owner, shareholders and director. However, the prosperity of enterprise depends not only on managers but also it depends on all employees working in the enterprise. In today’s era of rapid globalization, many people are increasingly concerned about their own creation of welfare and material wealth rather than spiritual, ethical and moral values. Therefore, one of the most urgent issues in the enterprise is how to choose properly the future employee that he wouldn’t become an ordinary mechanical employee who performs tasks of supervisor but he would become a loyal, dedicated, creative, sociable and cooperating person and an integral part of the enterprise. For this reason, it is important to find out or at least to guess reasons why people work specifically in that enterprise. Reasons can be dual: a person works for the salary or for professional recognition in the field, career opportunities. In the first case, when the earning is the most important thing, an initiative, the cooperation with team and with manager, an opinion or submission of proposal cannot be expected and such person will go to the work only that it is necessary. In the second case, the benefit will be much greater and mutual. A work for human will become motivation to achieve career heights and goals of such employee correlates with goals of enterprise. Therefore, the achievement will be much more focused and effective. When enterprises search new employees, it focuses usually on the candidate’s background, accomplishments, experience, expertise and skills but it is worth to remember another important aspect that when individual values correlates with values of enterprise, it becomes a guarantee of successful cooperation. In this case, a work performed by employee will be much more successful. Therefore, it is important to set enterprise’ values that will guide activities of enterprise as well as to identify characteristics and values of future employee. Although enterprises do not publish and do not focus on its values, each enterprise follows its system of acceptable values. Therefore, in order to have successful and smooth activities, each enterprise must find out individual values of workers and how much they are related with organization values. If there is a huge inconsistency, this employee is unpredictable and when he will get another job offer, he will accept without hesitation. Although it can occurs contrarily, after spending some time in the enterprise, employee’s individual values can correlate with organizational values and then common values are even more protected and cherished. Respect and following of values create a comfortable atmosphere for the person where goals are seeking successfully. When enterprise chooses a correct employee, an enterprise takes a major step to successful future. It is very important for employee to feel safe and to be evaluated and recognised in the occupation. When enterprise ensures the main conditions, he doesn’t seek to look for other perspectives and performs his tasks with great pleasure as well as he seeks goals set by enterprise. Therefore, one of the main criteria selecting an employee is correlation between individual and organizational values.
