Abstract [eng] In this thesis, an Information System prototype was developed, which allows a user of the prototype to create and edit vocabularies of various domains. At this time there is no Lithuanian e-Vocabulary of synonyms, which would allow its users to store noun and verb concepts, their different representation forms and relations, which would also allow a user to perform searches and could be reached via the internet. This kind of a vocabulary can be applied to various purposes, they are important when it comes to storing information about a language, they can be used to process language and semantic technologies. The goal of the project is to create a possibility to develop vocabularies with special namespaces by creating a specific vocabulary model and a technological solution, which would allow a user to create, not only individual terms, but their combinations (noun and verb phrases) as well as their synonymous relations and the current prototype allows the user to perform these tasks. It is possible to add new concepts and their combinations to the database, give these elements various representations and synonyms. The system uses a database, based on the Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR) metamodel which was chosen, since it is the most comprehensive model when it comes to knowledge representation. It also allows a user to define meaning and its representation forms. This model has best represented the requirements of the current prototype. The use of database in the system ensures the integrity of its elements. The experimental investigation has revealed that it is possible to create a vocabulary using the SBVR metamodel, which would be simple to use and could store complex data, concerning domain specific synonyms’ vocabularies. And even though the created prototype can only be used as proof that it is possible to create such a system, the database model can be used for further development.
