Abstract [eng] |
Master's work explored the use of wood ash in concrete production. The first part briefly describes what kind of substances can be considered as ash, ash classification, properties and utilization. The second part analyzes wood ash characteristics, as well as their influence on the cement slurry and cement stone properties. Research were made to discover properties, materials that were used, and also describes the testing methodology. Normal consistency was found of dough and cement mixture flow characteristics. Pseudo-adiabatic colorimeter was used to perform hydration released during temperature measurements. Rheological properties were caried out. The X-ray was presented of wood ash and analysis of samples. Physical, mechanical properties of various compositions of samples was identified. Replacing part of the cement wood ashes (up 30%), the compressive strength decreases almost in proportion varies and workability of the mixture also changing. Relative contraction strain tests was performed and concrete resistance to frost prediction and ultimately eventually experimentally. |
