Abstract [eng] Public-Private Partnership is a collaborative relationship based on long-term experience and involving private sector providing services usually pertaining to the private sector or developing the infrastructure necessary to provide such services. The object of the research is public-private partnership in the field of infrastructure. The subject matter of the research is public-private partnership in Lithuania. The goal of the study is to analyze the application of PPP in Lithuania and estimate methods of solving possible project-related problems in the field of infrastructure development. Research objectives: 1. Regulate the PPP using the EU and Lithuanian legal norms and political documents; 2. Analyze the nature and business operations of institutions supervising public-private partnership and their legal framework in the EU and Lithuania; 3. Carry out an empirical research aimed at identifying the problems related to the PPP project implementation in Lithuanian projects; 4. Recommend solutions for problems related to the development of public-private partnership in Lithuania.
