Changes in job market, a rapid development of science and technologies require the need of new competences, inspire challenges for each person to consider career changes, identify new possibilities as well as make important solutions still at a secondary school. There have been significant changes in the sphere of career development in Lithuania done: particular projects have been created and accomplished, also the renewed legal system has enabled the implementation of the system of career development in every educational institution. However, due to the lack of experience and deep traditions of career development it is likely that part of schools are still in the process of experience accumulation, learning and search for the most effective ways and means. The problem of the work. What should a system of career development be in a secondary school taking into account the micro and macro social environment and aiming at a thorough preparation of students for their future life? |
