Abstract [eng] |
Environmental factors increasing learning motivation in virtual learning environments, learning differences among generations are analyzed in this work. There is also a method of increasing motivation presented in this work. Aim of the work: to create a method allowing to increase learners’ motivation in virtual learning environments. Intrinsic and extrinsic motives of learning motivation are reviewed in the first part of the work. The second part of the work analyzes different learning features among various generations. The third part of the work is dedicated to analyze and interpret data from the research about learners’ point of view of using online learning on a daily basis, ways of learning, and presented forms of learning material and evaluation of learners. A method of increasing learners’ motivation using digital badges is presented in the fourth part of the work. Virtual learning environments are widely spread among different age learners. Noticing that students from different generations are learning in secondary schools and universities, it is necessary to find a way to motivate them in virtual learning. Evaluation of learners’ achievement was chosen as the object of the work. The main goal of the research is to identify whether the evaluation of learners’ achievement, by recording them in virtual learning environments, provides enough assumption for increasing learners’ motivation. |
