Business intelligence (BI) represents the tools and systems that shows a main role in the strategic planning process of the different e-commerce vendors. These systems allow vendors to gather, store, access and analyze data to make a better decisions. Mainly these systems will illustrate etail process and differences from a various period of time. Areas of customer profiling, customer special products support, market research, market segmentation, product profitability, statistical analysis, and inventory and distribution analysis to name a few or to show main future analysis. Business intelligence software is designed with the primary goal of extracting important data from an organization's raw data to reveal insights to help a business make faster and more accurate decisions. The software integrates data from „Broadleaf“ and provides end-users with self-service reporting and analysis. BI software uses a number of analytics features including statistics, data and text mining and predictive analytics to reveal patterns and turn information into insights. Big data streams reviels a main problem in etail – product owners can‘t make decissions withut gathering all informaton. Manually calculations takes time and isn‘t a best for a big streams. Also hard to use filters when having real time data. So main decisions have to be based on fresh information to become a competitive in etail game. |
