Abstract [eng] |
Utilization of sewage sludge is one of the biggest problems nowadays. Big amounts of sewage sludge are kept in wastewater treatment facilities but it takes a lot of space. Main goal of this work is to assess the sewage sludge in cementitious products, partial replacement of cement. Sewage sludge was burnt in 950°C temperature and then pulverized. The use of sewage sludge ash in the mixture was changed up to 20% of the cement weight. The formed samples were carried out compressive strenght, water absorption and porosity, rheological properties, EDS analysis. Studies have shown that increasing the amount of sewage sludge ash decreases compressive strenght but it does not decrease as much as the amount of ash are being increased. |
