In the Master’s Thesis a research was made to evaluate the possibilities of quantity and quality optimization of greenery shaping the townscape of Kaunas. Research consists of three main parts: analytical, empirical research and experimental. Analysis was made on a greenery influence to townscape and how it is formed through periods between antique and modern times. Found out how greenery planning and projecting was regulated in legal documents. Analysis and comparison of practical examples in Lithuania and foreign countries was made. After analysis hypothetical principles of townscape greenery were formed. In the empirical research part a research program was formed consisted of research object, hypothesis of a work and technique. Based on a research program a social survey was accomplished which allowed to confirm or deny hypothetic statements, specify hypothesis and design the conceptual model of a townscape possibilities of quantity and quality optimization. Experimental projecting method was applied to derive greenery optimization conceptual proposals and solutions of Santaka park and near situated coast territory of Vilijampolė that confirms hypothetical and conceptual possibilities and principles of quantity and quality optimization of greenery shaping the townscape of Kaunas. General Master’s thesis findings. Master’s thesis consists of a textual part, graphical part (16 pages 70x100 cm), accessories and model. |
