| Abstract [eng] |
The paper provides description of the car roof support structure and puts forward calculation methodology for the A-pillar strength. The research has been aimed at assessing the arrangement of repair welds in the structure. The results of load distribution among the structural elements of car roof, static and dynamic loads acting on the car roof structure and its A-pillar are provided in the paper. The paper also identifies the most effective model of weld arrangement. |
