Abstract [eng] |
Steel and concrete composite structures play an increasingly important role in modern construction, but due to complex limit states, failure modes, and difficult configurations, they are not fully investigated. The elements of shear connections – “PERFOBOND” shear connectors, are analysed in the final master‘s thesis. It was performed literature review, where were analysed the features of shear connection and the types of shear connectors. Also, an analytical research of “PERFOBOND” shear connectors was performed, where various equations proposed by researchers in the recent past were evaluated for predicting the shear capacity. Also, theoretical and experimental shear capacities were compared in order to determine which calculation method is the most reliable. Moreover, to analyse the practical application of headed studs and “PERFOBOND” shear connectors, three composite beams were designed and compared by aspects of time and steel consumptions. |
