Abstract [eng] |
Transport infrastructure is unimaginable without bridges and viaducts in all countries of the world. Reinforced concrete is one of the main materials in their construction. Bridge and viaduct decks are varied, and one of the possible options is reinforced concrete T-beams. However, over time, emerging problems and defects are observed, that is, large deflections in the deck and beams cracks. These problems need to be solved as they show that the service life of a bridge or viaduct is decreasing. One possible solution is to strengthen the deck beams. The final master's project reviews the methods of strengthening reinforced concrete T-beams used in various countries. From these, three methods of strengthening are chosen, which could be used in Lithuania as well. Their comparison is performed by choosing a bridge, the deck of which is made of reinforced concrete T-beams. It is a bridge in Šiauliai county, southwest corner of Pakruojis district, Degučiai village, 15.36 km of 150 road and leads across the river Kruoja. A numerical model of the research object is created using the finite element program “Sofistik”. Model corresponds to the real data of bridge observation and testing. The program evaluates not only the own weight of structures, but also the temporary loads, construction stages, long-term behavior of concrete (creep and shrinkage). The results (the deflection of the middle of the bridge span and concrete stresses) obtained by numerical analysis of three strengthening methods of reinforced concrete T-shaped beams bridges were compared. Advantages, disadvantages, conclusions and recommendations for application in practice and for further analysis of this type of bridge deck strengthening methods are presented. |
