The master's thesis delved into aging processes of high–voltage electrical equipment insulation caused by partial discharges. Main methods of detecting this phenomena are investigated. An experimental model simulating power transformer double insulation defect were prepared as well. At this point ultra high frequency method were proposed as many authors asserted like technique with the highest level of sensitivity for partial discharges. During the research, characteristics obtained from the experiment model using three voltage levels confirm the nature of simulated defect. Due to all the results of simulating insulation defect, curves, that identify weather insulation of electrical equipment is reliable or not, were made. |
