Abstract [eng] Purpose of this article is to disclose attitude’s of Klaipėda district municipality administration employees to rest time organization in the municipality. A right to rest time is regulated by many statements of law, which at present time are valid in the Lithuanian Republic: the Lithuanian Republic Constitution, Code of Work, international declarations and conventions. Each working person has a right to have rest and leisure. Each working person has a right to the rest time. Administration of Klaipėda district municipality for effective organization of rest time should take into account opinion of workers and to discuss their suggestions and wishes how to make better organization of the rest time. Organization of the rest time in the administration of Klaipėda district municipality is satisfactory: there is keeping laws which regulate work and rest time. In the majority organization of the rest time depends from the head standpoint to the workers and their health.
