The subject of the article is St. Thomas Aquinas’ conception of human freedom in the work Summa Theologiae. The article analyses the power of liberum arbitrium and conception of free will, at the same time it submits for consideration the attribution of Thomas’ to intellectualists or voluntarists also whether the insights of theoreticians who assert that there are changes in Thomas’ thinking about the human freedom comparing early-middle and late periods of his creation are well-grounded. |
