Abstract [eng] |
The Master thesis has analyzed the QR codes of different packages with regard to the evaluation of their readability, and has examined the possibilities of decoding the generated QR code. The thesis has also described the structure and application areas of the QR code. The articles on the innovativeness of QR codes, the influence of colors on code scanning, the problems of code encryption and scanning possibilities in the presence of different printed materials have been reviewed in the analysis of the scientific part of the thesis. A qualitative study of the QR codes of the packages has been performed using three different applications and “Android” operating system smartphones with different characteristics. The examination of 100 packages with a QR code has revealed that the information of the QR codes on 75% of the packages is not related to the product or the codes are unreadable. The QR code generation has been performed as well. The created and generated QR code has been digitally printed and placed on different types of paper to evaluate the factors affecting the scanning speed. The technological scheme of digital printing of packaging with QR codes has been made in the part of technological design, in addition, the equipment has been selected and the production processes have been described. Calculations of the duration of work, required staff and equipment have been performed to produce the designed products. The production areas have been calculated, according to which the layout plan of the premises and equipment has been drawn. The basic rules of QR code generation and application have been presented in the part of quality control, including the examples of QR codes used incorrectly in the model. The potential risk factors for working with video terminals have been identified, describing their effects and preventive measures to reduce or eliminate health hazards. The five-year financial calculations for the QR code packaging layout department have been performed in the economical part of the thesis. The calculations include product costs, prime cost, final price, profit and estimated payback time of the project. The conclusions with the results, observations and recommendations are presented at the end of the thesis. |
