Abstract [eng] |
Finding time for reading is probably what everyone thinks, but only a few of us plan to devote a portion of our daily schedule to this activity. Furthermore, as we read, we discover new things, develop the mind and expand the imagination. So the question is - why don’t we read? We will find many answers - some will say that they do not have the time, others that they don‘t have the money, that they lack experience or that it is just not a habit. For others, the multimedia experience, such as movies based on books, may be more close to the heart. Nevertheless, we can‘t discard cases where reading might just not be possible at all as people who have a reading disability, diseases such as developmental dyslexia (otherwise, dyslexia), Alzheimer's, involuntary tremors and so on, exists. Thus, this document will present software that will allow users to organize, track, and read e-books that are hosted on the web while also giving the book reader the ability to read texts using a variety of reading methods. The document will also provide an analysis of several of these reading methods, in which the solutions analyzed could complement, implement or improve the project’s reading methods. Furthermore, an overview of the software is also provided. Finally, with the help of the developed software, research was carried out and described in order to find out the most efficient reading methods and their impact on the device battery. |
