Employees of multinational companies work in geographically distant countries, in different time zones. Usually it is not possible to invite them for joint training, therefore information technology based solutions are needed. Online learning technologies help to ensure the quality, efficiency, accessibility and diversity of the content. They enable creation of a virtual system of employee training by adapting the learning process to the needs of the learner - by providing opportunities to learn at a distance, at a chosen time, to regulate the pace of learning. Problematic issues that are being analyzed in this project: what is the need for online learning and virtual learning environment of employees who work in a multinational company, how and what innovative online learning technologies enable employees to develop the lacking competencies. The aim of the master's final project is to improve competencies of employees of multinational company by choosing tools and creating learning system in the virtual space. Analysis of literature sources was performed, on the basis of which the peculiarities of the training of employees of multinational company and the possibilities of applying online learning technologies in virtual employee learning were characterized. In order to determine the need for the application of innovative online learning technologies in employee development process, employee survey was conducted. Taking into account the results of literature analysis and employee survey, requirements were developed and tools were selected to implement the virtual learning system. The virtual learning system was designed and developed. The possibilities of this system to develop employee competencies were investigated by conducting a study with the company's personnel management specialists. |
