The use of constantly evolving information technologies helps to open up new opportunities in the fields of learning. One of the areas is improving the competence of employees in the IT sector. Individuals working in the information technologies sector and wishing to deepen their professional knowledge have difficulty finding relevant information in this area. There are difficulties in finding the information needed to prepare for a job interview and develop competencies due to the lack of structured information. A virtual job interview preparation system would allow an interested IT professional to access training material in his or her native language. The aim of this work is to evaluate the suitability of the developed information system for job interview preparation and professional skills development in the IT sector, providing structured training materials, the opportunity to properly and independently prepare for a job interview and acquire new competencies. In order to achieve this goal, the following tasks have been formulated: to study the requirements for preparation for a job interview in the information technology sector; to analyse the experience of preparation for a job interview in the information technology sector using virtual technologies; to study and evaluate the possibilities of job candidates and existing employees in the information technology sector to prepare for a job interview; to explore similar systems on the market; to collect data and perform the analysis of the requirements of the developed system; to compile a project of the system according to which the implementation will be carried out; to implement the system; to study the suitability of the implemented virtual job interview preparation system for users seeking to improve existing IT knowledge and wishing to acquire new IT knowledge. Research methods used in the thesis: design, implementation, testing, evaluation and analysis of literature sources. The object of the work is preparation for a job interview and development of competencies in the information technology sector. The result of the work is the creation of a virtual system for job interview preparation and professional skills development, with electronic courses based on the relevant workplace in the information technology sector. The analytical part of the thesis analyses the experience of preparing for a job interview using virtual technologies in the information technology sector and the development of systems that help prepare for a job interview. A questionnaire was compiled for job candidates and existing employees in the information technology sector wishing to prepare for a job interview, and an analysis of the collected results was performed. The project part describes virtual job interview preparation system and its implementation – the information technology tools required for the development of the final thesis product are analysed and selected. In the part of the research, the suitability analysis of the developed system was performed, the obtained results were systematized, conclusions were prepared and the system was improved. |
