Abstract [eng] |
The well-being of manufacturing company employees in the context of employee-robot interaction is a relevant research topic as society goes through a period of digital transformation. During this period the demand and prevalence of robots grows, and robots themselves are evolving from a traditional industrial robot to a collaborative type robot, indicating the increase of employees facing robots in the workplace. In addition, research on employee well-being is carried out in various fields, but employee well-being in the context of employee-robot interaction is a relatively new field of research that requires new analysis. The object of the research: the well-being of manufacturing company employees in the context of employee-robot interaction. The aim of the work: to reveal the well-being of the employees of the manufacturing company in the context of employee-robot interaction. The chosen qualitative research method is an interview, and the data are analyzed using the method of phenomenological analysis. The study of the well-being of employees of a manufacturing company in the context of employee-robot interaction revealed 5 main groups of results: employee well-being, factors shaping employee well-being, employee anti-well-being, factors shaping employee anti-wellbeing, research context. The study revealed that all dimensions of well-being became apparent in the organization under study. The project provides recommendations on how organization can increase the level of employee well-being. Regarding the future research on the well-being of manufacturing company employees in the context of employee-robot interaction, further research is important, and it would be useful to conduct it in another type of manufacturing plant (for example, wood or food industry). It would also be beneficial to carry out a quantitative study to calculate the strength and depth of the problem, rather than just to raise existing problems. |
