Abstract [eng] |
Construction logistics is one of the most important aspects of implementation of a successful project. Despite modernisation and advancement in technology, the construction industry still demands a lot of human and natural resources. Innovative technologies are becoming more widespread and new requirements are being placed on engineers in an attempt to reduce construction costs, but these processes are progressing very slowly. The results of the study show that logistics planning is extremely important in today's construction projects. The proper choice of logistics planning, organisation and control methods enables efficient and timely delivery of the necessary materials, raw materials, or even Labour, which directly affect the pace of work and the fulfilment of commitments. Proper planning and proper execution of the construction logistics process reduces the likelihood of experiencing additional costs due to project delays, material transportation, material supply, irrational use of project information modelling (BIM). |
