In this work, aircraft ATR42 propeller blade consisting of composite materials and aluminium spar overall ultrasound NDT inspection technique has been determined. Propeller blade computerised inspection model has been established and experimentally examined for validation. Propeller blade each of single material acoustic characteristcs have been found. Artificial flaws in all layers of the propeller blade examined experimentally and electronic scanning graphs provided. Most suitable propeller inspection probe has been concluded. |
