Abstract [eng] |
This project is designed to determine and analyze the mechanical characteristics of glass fiber lamina, and investigate the possibility to use this properties in laminate analysis by fine element method. In order to achieve this goal, the experimental and analytical methods of determining composite properties were analyzed and applied. Obtained values were compared with each other. Using lamina mechanical properties by the finite element method, a multilayer multidirectional glass fiber laminate sample was modeled. The finite elements were used to calculate composite elasticity and strength, then the resulting values were compared with experimental values. |
