Abstract [eng] |
Preparation of amphoteic hydroxyethyl starches has been achieved by using cationic and anionic modifying reagents by two-step reaction. Cationic hydroxyethyl starches with degree of substitution of 0.29 and 0.58 were prepared by the reaction of hydroxyethyl starch with (2,3-epoxypropyl)trimethylammonium chloride in the presence of sodium hydroxide. Synthesized cationic hydroxyethyl starches were reacted with monochloroacetic acid in alkaline solution and four amphoteric hydroxyethyl starches with degree of substitution of anionic groups of 0.27 and 0.55, and 0.25 and 0.57, respectively, were prepared. The polyelectrolyte complexes were prepared between amphoteric hydroxyethyl starches and sodium tripolyphosphate and other complexes between amphoteric starches and poly(dialyldimethylammonium chloride) in water. Also, the complexes of other kind were preared by insoluble amphoteric hydroxyethyl starch derivatives and caffeic acid by using adsobcion methods. |
