Abstract [eng] |
In order to reduce the risks to human health associated with smoking, the tobacco heating system is increasingly replacing conventional tobacco products. THS 2.2 (also known as IQOS) is a new product on the market that is described as a low-risk tobacco product. IQOS heats the tobacco up to 350 ̊ C without burning and does not cause any emisions of insence cigarette or ash. However, there are no studies that analyze the impact of using THS system on indoor air quality in public places. Therefore, during this experiment, measurements were made under controlled and uncontrolled conditions to compare the THS system generated pollutants with emissions that normally occur at hospitality venues. |
