In this final masters thesis, a research on experimental direct exchange system with evaporator placed in water tank is performed. The goal of this project is to research if this new system model could work with better efficiency than standart air to water or ground to water heat pumps in cold winter days. Experimental system is desingned, installed and information about this system efficiency is gathered during winter. Results are analyzed and compared to regular heat pumps working costs. A comparison analysis on aerothermal and geothermal heat pumps is performed. In this project analysis of literature is performed on direct exchange systems, aspects of efficiency and directions for improvement is described. The results show that the system is ineffective and requires improvements. Suggested improvement option. |
