This work describes Development and Investigation of Nitrogen Acid Neutralization device in SC “Achema”, calcium ammonium nitrate production plant. Information about control system structures and controller tuning methods which are used in this paper described in literature review. Literature review also contains description about technological process of the calcium ammonium nitrate, the production of ammonium nitrate and the stage of nitric acid neutralization. Described step response experiments carried out in the ammonium nitrate production unit. Data from step response experiments were using for transfer functions models identification. Created nitric acid neutralizer control system, to set the controller parameters were using different controller tuning rules. Matlab/Simulink software were using to find unknown transfer function parameters and to simulate created control system model. In this paper also reviewed simulation results, calculations, reaction curve comparisons and conclusions. |
