Abstract [eng] This paper explores ways to increase the efficiency of a bread packaging system through product orientation change and system performance optimization. The project reviews ways of identifying bread orientation using different methods. Orientation of the asymmetric product before entering the packaging unit is very important for the packaging process as well as for the packaging aesthetics. The review section of the thesis introduces different identification methods, packaging process technology and the equipment used during experiments. The methodological part presents how experiments were carried out to determine the product orientation and the results obtained after the experiments. This thesis also includes improved packaging system program snippets with descriptions why these changes were needed.
