Blood circulation disorders caused by rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or Raynaud's syndrome causes pain in joints, reduces joint movement and physical activeness. 0,4–1,2 % of population suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Currently the market is lacking an equipment that is specially designed for these diseases, only universal equipment and methods are used. Ultrasound and heat therapy is commonly used with the patients however, there are no equipment designed especially for hand and wrist. This paper presents the study to determine four transducers „running wave“ ultrasound and heat therapy effectiveness and comparison with one transducer device that is already in the market. |
