Abstract [eng] |
In Lithuania, natural science education should become the priority of the education, as science education is an important source of the innovation. Physics belongs to the natural science, the knowledge of physics is applied in various fields, so it is important to encourage students to study physics as well as other sciences. According to the results of the International PISA study, Lithuanian students are not very good at natural science literacy; nowadays the children are Z-generation representatives who grow surrounded by technology using the Internet, making pupils attractive to elearning measures. Due to this, there are some problematic questions: what e-learning tools motivate the new Internet generation and how to use them to encourage pupils' interest in physics? The subject of this study is the methods and tools to increase students' motivation to learn physics. The aim of the thesis is to create a learning system that promotes the pupils' interest in physics through e-learning. To achieve the goal of the work the following tasks are solved: to analyze pupils' interest in the ways of promoting physics, to analyze e-learning tools and their opportunities to promote physics of 7-8 grade students creating physics learning using e-learning tools to stimulate interest in physics, to adapt the virtual learning environment to the demonstration and testing of the Moodle methodology, to explore how e-learning can be used, to explore 7th and 8th grades pupils interested in physics. The methods of the scientific literature analysis, design and questionnaire research were applied. |
