Abstract [eng] |
According to many Lithuanian and world scientists, competitiveness is a complicated phenomenon of various factors and external conditions, for which many models have been developed. The specificity of each, and the choice of indicators used for evaluation, lead to different results. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully evaluate the object under investigation and the selected indicators before starting the competitiveness evaluation study. This is particularly relevant when evaluating the competitiveness of the sector as a complex object. In this case, due to the quality of the products, the Lithuanian furniture manufacturing sector has intervened among the major furniture manufacturers in the world to compete on a daily basis. The excellent results of the past decade sector, cooperation with the furniture trade giant, growing investment – all continue to stimulate the growth of the sector. However, it is important to keep in mind that the furniture manufacturing sector, as well as its participants, is constantly exposed to a challenging environment, often leading to further action by business entities. However, this can be done, but it is necessary to carefully analyze the surrounding competitive environment. Therefore, the object of this final project investigation is the competitiveness of the Lithuanian furniture manufacturing sector. The aim of the study is to evaluate the competitiveness of the Lithuanian furniture manufacturing sector and to provide recommendations for strengthening competitiveness. |
