While some examples of identity studies can be found in project managers' research field, such studies are often overshadowed by studies on technical aspects, and the human side of project management is often overlooked, despite the fact that a tight project manager's work routine can also influence project manager's efforts to maintain his identity (Cowen and Hodgson , 2015). Social project managers are constantly faced with socially sensitive topics, whose additional emotional burden can also affect the identity of project managers or even become part of their personal identity. Research instrument for collecting Oral History - in-depth interview. The analysis of the collected data is carried out using narrative content analysis. Work problem. Noting that the goals of social projects are not measured financially and based on the assumption that their leaders are more guided by altruistic goals, possibly due to their personal experience and values developed from childhood, the aim of this work is to reveal the expression of identity of international social project managers. Based on a model that summarizes theoretical analysis, the expression of the identity of social project managers has been studied on the basis of social identity and identity theories, and the analysis of the expression of personal, social, professional and cultural identity in three life stages: childhood, adolescence and maturity. The results of the study show that spoken history of social project managers has revealed a certain perspective of their professional identity and the factors that influence its formation. According to the respondents, management of social projects is more than a profession, often inseparable from personal life, involving friends and relatives, requiring a deeper understanding of social issues and, above all, a willingness to contribute to positive changes in the world. That’s why International Social Project Manager could be described as strong value-based, multicultural, team-based person, who is able to recognize social problems and is willing to contribute to positive changes.
