Abstract [eng] Constant business environment following and analysis is necessary for organization to adapt to changes and strong rivalry. The main subject: business environment of peat extracting and manufacturing companies. The aim is to evaluate business environment of peat extracting and manufacturing companies. Study tasks are as follows: to present the relevance and problems of business environment evaluating; to investigate evaluation methods of business environment factors; to develop a methodology for evaluating business environment; to adapt evaluating methodology for selected company. After evaluating UAB Poraistė business environment the results are following: company is dependent on political decisions, that is to say on European Union directives condition under which chicken are held, that has an effect of companies 30 pct. income; unemployment rate in country and in district has to direct impact to company how low working people number and turnover changes; the essential weakness of the company is the dependence on season and unpredictable climate, those are the facts that decrease companies operational efficiency; main customers provide 90 pct. income yearly and company has long terms contracts with main customers; compost land productions is the main rivalry over competitors. The conclusion of the regression model showed that analysis of turnover of the company have a relationship with the unemployment rate in Lithuania and on the basis of this indicator was projected turnover UAB Poraistė 2018 - 2020 year. The following results were obtained as follows: in 2018 projected turnover is 1193138,73 EUR, 2019 - 1263531,26 EUR, 2020 - 1298727,52 EUR.
