After performing the analysis of scientific literature, economic analysis of logistics sector companies, the expert assessment revealed that the economic viability of the logistics sector depends on internal and external environmental factors. A business unit cannot influence external factors, however, it may observe and control the internal factors. After evaluating experts’ opinion, the activity of logistics companies are mostly affected by the following external factors: the overall economic situation of the sector, economic growth, internal and foreign policy, tax system, geographical location, while the internal factors are as follows: correct business strategy and labour system, inner communication, personnel qualification and motivation, and competence of the managers. |
