Abstract [eng] |
The main object of this master thesis is research of magnetoresistive sensors usage in transport control systems, determining speed and length of moving vehicles. The methods, can be used for this signal processing are investigated. Analyzed systems functioning principles and possibilities. Analyzed engineering solutions to investigate the earth's magnetic field signals that are distorted by vehicles. Perform different vehicle speed detection tests with different sensor layouts. The time difference between the two sensor signals is calculated using the methods for finding peaks and cross-correlation. Further, research of the length of the vehicle is analyzed at work. This is done using methods for finding peaks, derivative peaks, and by using threshold value. Different method errors for different cars are calculated. Research of longer vehicles using derivative peaks method is made, results compared. |
