Abstract [eng] Development and perspectives of turboprop engines are analyzed in this thesis. Focuses to analysis of the newly emerging needs of lightweight low power engines in this work. The work cycle of turboprop engines and additional cycle processes that improve the thermal efficiency of the cycle also analyzes in this work. This analysis includes processes that improve the working cycle in gas turbine engines, and the introduction of a regeneration process into a cycle that is suitable for turboprop and turbo-shaft engines. This thesis presents the methodologies for calculating thermodynamic parameters of gas turbine engines. Calculations and emerging problems. Calculation of low power (350 kW) engine. Summarizing and evaluating the results of this calculation, of a turboprop engine with a mass up to 100 kg and power 350 kW are proposed a construction scheme. A practical application of the work, the turboprop engine calculation methodology is provided for the 3rd year aviation undergraduate students which are shown in the final work section. The methodology will help to accomplish the task of self-study and will allow to better absorb the theoretical material of the gas turbine engines.
