Abstract [eng] |
It is difficult to always know the real situation regarding the increasing or decreasing forest area or newly constructed buildings on the ever-changing surface of the earth. It is difficult to ensure that this real situation is correctly represented on the maps. These data must be constantly recorded by specialists in those fields. Often this is not an easy task and rough estimates are made. Nowadays, with the ever-expanding use of machine learning algorithms and tools, and with the use of technologies such as the light detection and ranging (LiDAR) to gather data, it is possible to create an algorithm that can solve these problems. The LiDAR technology is used to measure the ground level and objects in the ground from airplane with an accuracy of centimeters. From this technology, in this final work, an algorithm prototype is created which maps the location automatically. The algorithm recognizes and vectorise the earth's surface, buildings and forests. |
