Abstract [eng] The main research object in this project is constructions fire-fighting vehicles. The main problem is that tankers are quite universal fire-fighting vehicles because they have water tank, fire-fighter pump and fire-fighting and rescue equipment inside that vehicle. However it is very hard for manufacturers to put that amount of equipment inside the vehicle because there are limits in volume and gross laden mass of vehicle. If manufacturers want to increase these limits, they have to look for new technologies. But usually new technologies are quite expensive, so in that way manufacturers will not be able to have any income from the tender. The main aim of this project is to examine four different constructions of fire-fighting vehicles and to compare its characteristics: mass, volume, costs and production time. Main task of this project which will help to reach the aim are: 1. To make a research of fire-fighting vehicles manufacturers market and requirements for fire-fighting vehicles manufacturers; 2. To make a research of four producing technologies and find its advantages and disadvantages; 3. To make a research of four constructions to find information about its modules and production principles; 4. To compare results of all four constructions. All in all we can make these conclusions: - Polypropylene construction has the biggest inside volume for equipment and smallest mass. Inside volume is bigger up to 34 percent than other constructions volume, while mass is smaller up to 8 percent. What is more, the production time is smaller up to 30 percent than the production time of other constructions. - Most of productions works for constructions of stainless steel and constructional steel is welding. So these technologies are good for countries and companies where welding process is cheap. In other way these construction will be too expensive for manufacturers. - Constructions of stainless steel and constructional steel have very similar characteristics. The only difference is construction production time. Stainless steel construction requires about 15 hours less for productions because there is no need for additional preparations for body coating as for constructional steel construction. - An aluminum profile construction has a smaller mass than steel constructions while inside volume is almost the same. The material costs are bigger while production time is almost the same. However this production does not require special personal and expensive welding process as all other constructions. That is why this construction would the best choice for companies which are looking for optimal price-quality ratio.
