In the final work, a visibility study at railway crossings is performed. The analysis of road safety in rail transport and accident statistics is analyzed, distinguishing traumatic events at railway crossings. In depth analysis of the rules for the installation of railway crossings in Lithuania and abroad and the methods of estimation of visibility are analyzed - comparative installation of cross-roads is considered. Exploratory distances in Lithuania are determined - defects of their visibility are determined in accordance with the requirements of the Lithuanian Crossing Regulations. After detecting defects in the visibility of the crossings, he makes proposals to improve the visibility of the crossings in accordance with the requirements of the rules and regulations for the use and installation of crossings in Lithuania and New Zealand. The SunCalc program evaluates the additional / dangerous factor when traveling across the crossroads - the sun's glare factor. Carried out at surveyed level, estimation of losses of traffic accidents that have already taken place, calculation of costs of modernization of visibility, estimation of benefits. |
