Living in 21st century the most important thing becomes develop every person’s skills and competencies, needed to live in the age of changes and to have a lifelong learning attitude. As long as OECD and WEF confirmed, one of the most important 21st century skills is leadership. That is why leadership development, especially in educational system, is one of the priorities all around the world. As a skill leadership can be learned by anyone. Educational system is the best place to learn leadership for every of educational stakeholders – principles, teachers, students, even parents. With the aim to have strong leaders who can lead to the positive changes, it is necessary to start learning leadership in the young ages. Student leadership development in elementary school is a reasonable choice. |
