Abstract [eng] |
The longevity of the combustion engine is heavily influenced by the using oil, fuel, engine operating way, therefore it requires monitoring of individual engine status parameters and the use of preventive measures. The purpose of the the master’s thesis is to determine the concentration of the wear products, to evaluate their impact on the longevity of locomotive combustion engine, based on the literature review and the results of the research, to submit the resume and recommendation for the oil change intervals. The first part of the work reviewed the combustion engines used on the TEM TMH locomotives, performed and analysis of the engine lubrication system and its faults. The used engine oil and oil specifications have been revised. In the second part of the work outlines the monitoring methodology. Selected engine oil sampling intervals, consider the main monitored oil condition parameters and emergent wear products. In the third part of the research the main attention was assigned for two locomotives TEM TMH series combustion engines analysis. In the study locomotives combustion engines used the “Q8 T860” and “Lukoil Avantgarde Professional” engine oils. During the analysis of engine oil was monitored a change of the concentration of iron and viscosity of oil. The main purpose of the test is to determine the oil change intervals. The investigation revealed that during the operation of a locomotive for 1000 motohr. in locomotive engine oil iron concentration increases from 2,5 to 5 times. Observing an intense deterioration of the oil after the first 500 motohr. work. The research showed that, due to intense operating conditions, the engine oil faster looses its lubricating properties and can no longer ensure the proper lubrication and protection of the individual components in the combustion engine. |
